Welcome
from the President
Welcome to The Adhesion
Society website. If you have an interest in adhesion there will be
something within these pages to stimulate your interest whether an
old hand or a newcomer to the business.
As the new guy on the block it

concentrated on the application of surface analysis methods of XPS
and ToF-SIMS to adhesion phenomena going

England. As someone who has been attending Adhesion Society
Meetings for more than twenty years it is still with some
trepidation that I approach the role of President, having seen
over the last two years as Vice-President the tremendous amount of
work that goes on behind the scenes to make the Society what
it is today.
