The Adhesion Society invites you to share your advances, challenges, opportunities and emerging research during the 2027 Annual Meeting being held February 7-10 at the San Antonio Marriott Riverwalk Hotel. This event will include a 50th annual meeting celebration, two-day short course being held February 6-7, a poster session, exhibition, student award symposium and concurrent technical sessions. Presentations for the meeting are solicited in all areas of Adhesion Science and Technology with emphasis on:

Immediately following the deadline date of October 2, the Program Committee will review all abstract submissions and select those suitable for presentation at the 2027 Annual Meeting. You will be notified shortly thereafter of its decision. NO EXTENDED ABSTRACT IS REQUIRED FOR THE ANNUAL MEETING ABSTRACT SUBMISSION.
DANIEL R. KING MEMORIAL TRAVEL SCHOLARSHIP The Daniel R. King Memorial Travel Scholarship will partially support the participation of an early career researcher in the Adhesion Society’s Annual Meeting. Dan loved bringing people together to share and grow science. This scholarship is a wonderful way to commemorate his life and his contributions to the entire soft materials community. The Scholarship fund and selection process will be managed by the Executive Committee. Submission due October 24, 2026. Click here for eligibility.
PEEBLES AWARD SUBMISSIONS When applying for the “Peebles Award”, please check the Peebles Award box on the form. You will need to submit an extended abstract via email to adhesionsociety@ascouncil.org as well. Your extended abstract is due on October 24, 2026. Extended_abstract_template. POSTER SESSION GUIDELINES Poster size: 42in (height) x 48in (width) All posters must be mounted one hour before the scheduled session start. Poster numbers supplied by AS will be in the upper corner of each poster board, and this number corresponds with the number assigned to each poster in the technical program. Pushpins will be available at the poster session. Authors must remain with their posters for the duration of their scheduled session as indicated in the technical program. All posters must remain up until the session ends and then must be removed within one hour after conclusion of the session. The Adhesion Society cannot assume responsibility for materials beyond these time limits.
